Dr. Luc Van Liedekerke

Dr. Luc Van Liedekerke is professor ethics and sustainability at the University of Antwerp and KULeuven (both in Belgium). He is a renowned international business ethicist and advises banks and the financial sector on sustainability, ESG reporting, and codes of conduct.

For over 4 decades, Luc has at the forefront of rigorous economic-ethical frameworks – especially regarding ESG reporting – and has been able to assist boards and top management teams to translate this in a practical world. Especially in the financial sector he has been quite influential in Belgium-France.

He studied economics (ME) and philosophy (MA & PhD) at the University of Louvain (KUL). His expertise focuses on Business ethics, sustainable entrepreneurship, sustainable investing
